I am inspired by the beautiful New England landscape that surrounds me. From the rolling hillsides with lovely old barns to cottages perched on the edge of a cliff overlooking the ocean, I am energized by what I see. My vision is to capture the moment so that others may enjoy it too! People tell me that they build a relationship with my paintings and that pleases me.
Color is so exciting! I love to push the limit on it to achieve a "color surprise". I paint in oils and acrylics on canvas using vibrant colors and expressive, loose brushstrokes. My art is always evolving as I continue to see things in a new way.
